SoFlaJo Black Beauty

Today I have an AWESOME polish to share with you. When I put it on I seriously died a little and never wanted to take it off. I'm taking about SoFlaJo Black Beauty, and a beauty this is.

Black Beauty is part of the SoFlaJo Matte Love Collection. This was her Spring collection and is part of the Blacks portion of the collection.

This is a black matte holo. You heard that right a matte holo. I remember last year in April I was talking on twitter about an ideal polish I would love to see and I said wouldn't it be cool if there was a matte holo! Jody has totally pulled through on this and it is just beautiful. I honestly thought it wouldn't be thaat holo, but there really is a rainbow without topcoat! This was 2 easy coats. I could have gotten away with one, but I did two to even things out.

Of course I had to add topcoat to see how it would look and I absolutely love it both ways. I've been searching for a black holo and I am really happy to be able to add this to my collection!

SoFlaJo Hidden Gem

Afternoon loves!

Today I have the beautiful SoFlaJo Hidden Gem to share with you. This is part of her Party Time Collection that was released just over a week ago! I wish I had been able to share this with you sooner, but silly Canada Post takes forever. There are 7 polishes in the collection and you can see the rest of them here and here.

Here is Jody's decription of Hidden Gem, "We’re rocking this party! I find fascinating rocks on my walks and break them open at home to reveal glittering treasures inside. Hidden Gem is a steely blue teal polish with flashes of green and blue flecks and rainbows of scattered holo. Opacity is reached in two coats."

This is absolutely gorgeous! The colour is really unique and I love the flecks and the scattered holographic pieces running throughout the polish! This really was perfect in 2 coats. I have shown it was a coat of NYC Top coat so show you that top coat doesn't dull the beautiful finish!

I think Hidden Gem is beautiful and I am so happy to have this in my collection! It is extremely unique and I don't think there is another polish like it indie or not.

You can purchase Hidden Gem in SoFlaJo's shop as well as her etsy shop! They are $5 for a 5mL mini bottle or $10 for a full 15mL bottle. They are the big 4 free and always come with stainless steel mixing balls.
