Cutesy Skittles Valentines Mani

Good Evening Lovelies!

As I promised earlier today here is my second post of what I had on my nails today!

I had You Don't Know Jacques on my desk for 2 weeks and I have been just itching to try it out. So I decided to do a brown and pink themed mani! The colours look great together for clothes, so why not nails!

Here's what I came up with!

Cute right? I used OPI's You Don't Know Jacques as my base then on my middle and pinky finger used a white striper to make those stripes. Then took Wet n Wild's Lavender Creme and with a dotting tool and brush created the bow and the dots on those fingers. Then used a brush and Wet n Wild's Ebony Loves Chris to outline the bow. On my index finger I used Wet n Wild's Undercover, Essie's Jamaica Me Crazy and Lavender Creme with a dotting tool to make the heart. My ring finger I put one coat of Wet n Wilds Shield over You Don't Know Jacques then a coat of Nubar's 2010.

I loved the look but I wasn't sold on my ring finger. Something about it kept looking off to me all day. So I redid it with inspiration from Sarah at Chalkboard Nails

I did the base with Lavender Creme then added a coat of Seche Vite to dry. Cut out a heart shape out of tape then laid it on top of the nail and painted Jamaica Me Crazy. Then added the white dots with the dotting tool to create a lacy effect. Sarah's is much better than mine, but I like it!

And this is what I wore on my nails today! Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day :)

Love you all SO MUCH!! <3

Until next time,
Sincerely Stephanie

Valentine's Funky French

Happy Valentine's Day Loves!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Valentine's no matter what your relationship status and think that everyone should have a little self love on Valentine's as well :) As for me tonight I will be all by my lonesome more than likely swatching and probably doing a little bit of art. For some reason my brain has been swirling around with nail art ideas since yesterday so there will be lots to look forward to in the future!

The nails I have for you today were originally supposed to be for the No Hearts day of my challenge, that unfortunately got sidetracked with family emergencies and getting sick. So here they are!

To get this I did a coat of Essie's Kisses and Bisses, which is a beautiful sheer light pink shimmer polish that is absolutely perfect for french manicures. I will be using it for a number of funky frenches! The french portion of this I was inspired by Copy That Copy Cat's Colour Blocking manicure. She has an awesome tutorial on how to here!
I used Wet n Wild's Undercover for the first swipe, China Glaze Don't Touch My Tiara for the second swipe, China Glaze Vermillion for the third and finished with OPI Congeniality is My Middle Name.

no flash.
It's very cute and totally work appropriate! I did this last week so it's not what I'm wearing today, I will post that tonight once I get a chance to watermark the photos! Two posts in one day! Look at me go! :D

Love you all and hope you're having a wonderful day!

Until next time,
Sincerely Stephanie

I'm Back! With some Valentine's Nails

Hey Everyone,

So this past week I have been so sick. The doctors thought I had mono, but thank goodness the blood-work said no! Anyway I was sleeping between 16-18 hours a day and didn't eat a thing all week other than maybe 2 jellos that my boyfriend gave me the evil eye until I managed to finish. I'm still not back to 100% but I am for sure on the mend and will hopefully be getting back to regular posting soon, but for now I am just going to do a few valentine's day nails and even if they don't line up with my challenge exactly I'll do my best :)

So for today I have some Valentines Nails from the vault that I never posted it semi lines up with what should have been the 10th's post, Inspired by a picture. Here's the picture,

This is what I did from that,

I thought the glitter acted as the little balls and I then sponged on the LOVE YOU and the hearts. The polishes I used were China Glaze Love Marilyn and China Glaze White on White then topped off with a coat of SV!

Hope you guys like this and I will venture to do some cool looking Valentine's Nails tonight for tomorrow! Love you all!

If you haven't you should check out my friend Goisa's blog. She is venturing to complete my Valentine's Day Challenge!

Until next time,
Sincerely Stephanie

Apologies and Polish Haul!

Hey Guys!

So first off I want to say I'm sorry for not keeping up with my Valentine's Day Challenge. Last Saturday I had a bit of a family emergency which caused me to have to drive to NY for the weekend. So I have missed three days of my challenge, but life happens and occasionally polish will have to wait! So I will try to make these days up somewhere along the way, but if not then I'm sorry!

The good news is that while I was in the states I managed to pick up so much new polish! Some of it was bought earlier on eBay and I was able to pick up this weekend and others were bought in various drug stores and from a trip to Forever 21 :)

Here's the full haul!

Deborah Lippmann - Bad Romance, Happy Birthday, Today was a Fairytale
OPI - Fresh Frog of Bel Air, Gone Gonzo, Divine Swine
Wet n Wild - On a Trip, I Need a Refesh-Mint, Undercover

OPI - Windy City Pretty, Mmm... Vould You Like a Lick-tenstein?, You Don't Know Jacques, Congeniality is My Middle Name
China Glaze - Vermillion, Soled Out, Don't Touch My Tiara
Nubar 2010, Revlon - Scandalous, Essie - Kisses and Bisses, Sinful Colors - Hottie
Love & Beauty - I <3 Drama Collection (No Names)
So much gorgeous new polish to play with! I can't wait to swatch them all for you and create some gorgeous nail art!

I'm gonna get to work on today's mani!

Until next time,
Sincerely Stephanie
