I started off with 2 coats of Essie's Mesmerize. This has to be one of my all time favourite blues. It's a little dusty and well I just love it! I'll go over how I did each nail below.
Thumb: Using a nail art brush and Sally Hansen's Celeb City I painted on a lightning bolt pattern. Then with a striping brush and Wet n Wild's Black Creme created the two black lines.
Pointer: With a striper brush and Celeb City I painted on strokes along the side going in, on both sides of my nail. Then with a dotting tool and CC created some dots down the center of my nail. Then with BC I added the black lines over the silver and a few more dots in the center.
Middle: I added a coat of Candy Lacquer Foiled. Then with BC I added the dripping look with the polish brush.
Ring: Using Essie's Knockout Pout and a dotting tool I added a number of large pink areas to my nail. Then took BC and a smaller dotting tool and added the black details to create the leopard print.
Pinky: Using a dotting tool I added clear rhinestones down the middle of my nail. Then took BC and a striping brush and added a line on either side of the rhinestones.
Phew! That was a lot of explanation.
These nails were totally random and kinda flashy. I only kept them on for a day, but really enjoyed the silver, black and blue contrast with a flash of pink!
