Today is day two in the Geometric Challenge and the task for today is Round. I had a bunch of ideas when I was brainstorming for today, but in the end I think I came up with some of my favourite nail art ever.
GAAAh I love these so much! I started with one of my new favourite polishes butter LONDON Fiver. The perfect icy mint creme. Then with Essie Good As Gold I created a small dot in about the center of my nail and then started drawing circles having them overlap to create a blossom like pattern in the center of my nail. Then in the gaps I drew lines out to the end of my nails to give it a little more visual interest.
I actually did these a few days ago trying to get some done in advance and then couldn't bear to take them off. I wore them for 4 days until one chipped and I was essentially forced to take them off my nails. I won't pimp my own nail art this hard usually, but I mean gah. Geometric designs can be soo pretty.
I used my super small cut down nail art brush to do this because I wanted the lines to be as small as possible to allow for Fiver to show through even where there were multiple circles overlapping.
I adore these round nails. What do you think of them?
Can't wait to see what my fabulous challenge buddies have come up with! Make sure you check them out below!
