I was feeling like pulling out an untried when I did these so I reached for Finger Paints Go Van Gogh! which I got way back in August. It's actually a really pretty green! I'm sad I didn't try it until now, you can bet I'll pull it out for some nail art soon times. Then I felt like keeping this one pretty subtle after my super rainbow mani so I reached for Sally Hansen Ion a white gregie and Wet n Wild I Need a Refresh-Mint a beautiful robins egg blue.
I took my striper brush and just started drawing straight lines. I didn't really think while I was doing it, I just let the lines flow! I always paint thumb to pinky when doing nail art and came up with my pinky's design last. I think I like that design best and will have to do a full mani like it soon in new colours!
Which nail do you like best? I also felt it was fitting to add in a skittle mani since my Skittles Nail Art Contest is ending soon! You have until Sunday to get in your designs! I really hope you enter :D
I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of my challenge buddies have come up with! I'm sure they are straight-tacular ;)

ReplyDeleteThanks Heather! :)
DeleteFirst of all-I mailed out your prize last Friday-second-you have my personal email-can you PLEASE tell me how to use the striper brushes. I want to learn but can't figure it out. Do you pool polish on a plate or dip the brush right in the polish? I just can't figure it out. it's just like when I tried dotting-I needed someone to tell me in baby steps what to do!! I love this mani BTW!
ReplyDeleteSent you one! I'll work on a tutorial as well!
