After all the dark and crazy nail art that I do, sometimes I feel like my nails need a breath of fresh air. That was the thought I had in mind when I sat down to do these nails.
I pulled out my absolute favourite OPI My Boyfriend Scales the Walls, I'm going to need a back up bottle of this baby! Anyone want to send one my way ;) and then stamped using BM-09 and Essie Penny Talk from the Mirror Metallics Collection. I was aiming to create a half moon of sorts with the stamp and I purposely didn't stamp the whole image onto my nail.
The hardest part about these nails was trying to line up the stamp to be in the middle and halfway down my nail! I by no means got it perfect, but I still really enjoy this look. Penny Talk is absolutely perfect for stamping and the metallic finish is beautiful against the grey white of MBSTW. While I was wearing these there was an extra shine on the stamped image against the creme of MBSTW that I was just loving.
This was the perfect refresher for me before I start delving into some crazy Halloween nail art, which I am sure that I will be doing quite soon.
Do you ever need to take a minute and wear something light, soft and delicate on your nails instead of a bright or vampy shade? Let me know what you think!
Hope you're all having a good Monday!
So pretty - reminds me of a shell on the beach))
ReplyDeleteThanks natalsie :)
DeleteLovely! I should really get Essie Penny Talk! It looks fabulous for stamping!

DeleteThat's insanely gorgeous. You for sure should do more bright coloured mani's if this is what they will look like
ReplyDeleteThank you! I will venture to do more nail art like this!
DeleteSoo pretty, it's nice to take a breather from the "in season" nail colours :)
ReplyDeleteI agree. Sometimes wearing something that is off season is just as much fun!
DeleteThese are very cool and refreshing! You have very pretty nails today!!!! : )
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty! MBSW looks almost blue here! It's such a pretty white, which I never thought I would say ever! LOL
ReplyDeleteDAMN! Can't believe you said it! It really is a stunning shade and I'm so glad that I was finally able to capture its grey blue side :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Jamie! I love how it shifts in real life! Just stunning the perfect white!
DeleteFresh and beautiful! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI think that's great idea. I was craving something dark, burgundy, but sadly it felt flat - even though I get some compliments on my nails. Maybe I'll stole your idea and go with some light polish with delicate print. As a palette cleanser.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I think we all need a palette cleanser every once in awhile! It keeps it fresh!
DeleteOoo, I thought this was a french! But looking closely it's such a beautiful design! <3
ReplyDeleteThank you so much <3
