I Needed Some Edge

Even though it's summer occasionally I feel the need for something a little edgier. All these neons are amazing, but they got me craving something black on my nails. So I decided to whip out my new Bundle Monster plates and have some fun.

To get this look all I did was start with a coat of Wet n Wild Black Creme on all my nails. Then I grabbed Icing Golden Age of Glitter and did a coat of over Black Creme on all nails except my ring finger. This is a really interesting polish. It's filled with gold and black micro glitter. It would look awesome over a beige creme. The black glitter would really shine through. Also black glitter is just awesome. Then I stamped using BM-301 and Black Creme. On my ring finger I just added two rows of gold studs from Born Pretty Store.

Easy, simple mani and it was gold glittery goodness (see the aliteration there? ok I'm a nerd). This was my first time stamping over glitter and I was a little scared because I had heard horror stories from other ladies. I wish the stamp was a little more opaque, would using a different black polish help with that? Any of you stamping gurus out there know?

I'm really starting to love my stamped manicures. Especially now with being so busy in school, I can still have great looking nails in half the time of a freehand manicure! Also stamping lets me have some looks that I would never be able to freehand! It's really awesome.

I hope you are all having a fabulous Monday! Aaaaaannd if not then I hope it is over quickly :) Thanks so much for stopping by and remember to enter my Jamberry Nails Giveaway! It closes TONIGHT!

  1. For truly opaque black, I don't think you can go past Konad Special Black Polish but the clean up on it is a nightmare. I've been trialling WnW Black Creme and it's not even in the same league. Same goes for the Konad White, well worth the investments in my opinion.

    1. Thanks Jen! I have Konad White, but was waiting on buying black as I had heard WnW BC was good! I'll have to make the investment soon! :)
