We're Painting the Roses Red

Morning! Today I've got some simple stamping to share with you. School has been slightly kicking me these past few days so this is going to be a quick post.

To get this look I started off with 2 coats of Cult Nails Evil Queen from the recent Fairytale Collection. This is such a perfect red. I'm in love with it. Then I stamped using BM-322 and Billie Gold which I picked up from The Dollar Tree.

I'm really digging these new Bundle Monster plates. They are awesome and perfect for someone who is brand new to stamping like myself. I went with this image because when I put on Evil Queen I immediately thought of The Queen of Hearts in Alice and Wonderland! So that's where the explanation of the title came from :)

Simple, eyecatching and just lovely in my opinion. I'm really loving the Fairytale collection from Cult Nails and am glad that I decided to pick them up!

How do you like my stamped roses? What images have you been reaching for from the BM plates?

Hope you're all having a wonderful day! Back to the grindstone for me :)

  1. Hi Stephanie,

I absolutely love these! I have been researching stamping plates for a little while and think I would like to get bundle monster plates. Which do you prefer, 2011 set or the 2012 set?

Also, have you ever had any problems with the designs not working as people were complaining about them on amazon reviews?

Many thanks for your time :0)

    1. Hi Robin,
Thank you!! You should definitely get the BM plates! I'm pretty new to stamping, but I really love the 2012 set. There are some great images on there. Also you mentioned you have started blogging, so I would get the 2012 set to keep your blog current :)

One of the plates I recieved had some major pitting on it and the design would not transfer, how ever BM customer service is amazing and they sent me a new plate the day I emailed inquiring about it. Other than that I have had no trouble with images transferring!
      Hope that helps!

  8. I have a question, did you get charged for brokerage fees or did they ship the items as gifts? How long did it take to receive it?

    1. I have never been charged customs fees on any polish or stamping plates that I have received. It took just over a week for the Bundle Monster plates to reach Canada from Hawaii, which is really good time!
