YAAAYY! My Bundle Monster plates arrived! They got here last Wednesday and I was sooo excited when I opened my box! I'm still very new to stamping, and freehand is still where my heart is, but stamping is so much fun! It creates something so eye catching in a short amount of time! So I created these nails with my new plates! (Disclosure: For some reason my top coat bubbled like a mofo. I have no idea why, I almost didn't post this, but I loved it aside from the bubbling. Please, please excuse it!)
Accent nails are one of my favourite things to do. So I went with my current favourite accent combination on this one. I used 2 coats China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard on my index and middle finger, then stamped with BM-319 and Wet n Wild Black Creme. On the rest of my nails I used 2 coats of China Glaze Ride the Waves and stamped with BM-322 and Konad Special Polish in White. I noticed that the size of the squares in the pattern on my accent nails were the same as my square rhinestones from Born Pretty Store! So I grabbed the blue ones and added them where the squares were! Then since I love my 3D stuff I added the silver bullion beads in what I thought were the appropriate places.
Those bubbles are killing me. I wish I could just pop them! At a distance this mani was fab. But these up close shots are awful. Dam you NYC top coat. You were so perfect in your first bottle. Or maybe it was my 3D stuff that made you bubble. Either way were in a bit of a fight at the moment. Thankfully my Cult Nails Wicked Fast arrived! So I'm switching to using that for now.
Did you notice my new watermark?! I decided to sit down yesterday and try to teach myself how to use the path function to make curvy text. Some pictures were easier than others and yes this takes longer than my usual editing process so we'll see how long I stick with it looool.
Did you order the Bundle Monster plates?! What image did you use first!? What do you think of this kind of accent nail? I would love to hear it all!
I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday's and that this heat isn't killing you too badly. For those of you that read my post yesterday about SOA, holy its amazing. I'm through the first season and starting the second. Literally watching on repeat.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! :D
Cool! I love the blue and white nails especially! I definitely need more plates. Also, don't you just love Ride the Waves? I miss being in a challenge with you!! <3
