ReplyDeleteI wish everybody would stop using GFC as a requirement. It doesn't exist anymore. It hasn't for a really long time. Google shut it down, so nobody can register for it anymore. I never had it, so this means I am always excluded from all giveaways, and I hate that. It makes me sad that I can't ever participate, especially since I am often a follower on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you feel that way. Google only shut GFC down for non blogger websites. If you have a Google account (gmail) or twitter or yahoo you can actually join using any of those.
DeleteTo my knowledge they are planning on doing away with it completely in the near future. Also, I hope I didn't come across as harsh or angry with you, because that was not my intention. Upon rereading my post, it seems a bit harshly worded. I've just come across it many times where I've been asked for GFC and even if I do use a google account to register, I don't have a specific GFC username, which is often asked for. So I never know what name to give, be it for my G+ account or otherwise.
DeleteNo I didn't think you were harsh or angry at all! I'll keep it in mind for future giveaways and I'll look into it some more. I believe that your G+ account name is what your GFC name would be when asked for.
