Aand we're back for day two in Art week for The Digit-al Dozen. Today's inspiration came again from browsing through Pinterest. I came across a wicked print that was totally my style of nail art!
Here is the print, called Scribbles by Amy Sia. You can get it in iPhone cases and on all sorts of different mediums, cool!
I started off with Milani White On The Spot my go to white creme then added a coat of Seche to give me a smooth canvas for my art. Then I grabbed my teeny tiny brush I cut down to make smaller and started in on all my lines. I used Sally Hansen Blue Me Away!, Essie Watermelon,Essie Knockout Pout, and Revlon Red Hot Tamale.
Each nail is actually a section of the painting that I did my best to recreate. For this process I just picked a section that I thought looked cool and did my best to recreate it on my nails!
I seriously love these and was sad I had to take them off to do tomorrows! If I was ever to make nail wraps this would be a print I would put on them!
Also cause I'm awesome I made an easily pinnable image for all you pinners out there!
This challenge is awesome. Even though we're only 2 days in I'm really feeling like I'm having to push myself which is exactly what I've wanted to do in 2013! What do you all think of my scribbles nails?
Make sure you check out the rest of The Digit-al Dozen's day two nails! I'm sure they are all fantastic!
