Studded V-Gaps

Morning! Today I've got some nails to show you that I am seriously ridiculously excited about. I think they have not been attempted before! As far as my google researching can tell. So without further adieu here are my Studded V-Gaps!

Eeeeee aren't they fabulous?! I was dying over how much I loved them :)

I started out with two coats of China Glaze Fast Track from the Colors of the Capitol Collection. This is a light taupe creme with a flakie gold shimmer running throughout. The gold flakies in this one are stunning. Next I took a striping brush and A-England Saint George and created my V-Gaps. I filled in the rest of the gaps with the polish brush. Then I added 1.5mm gold studs from Born Pretty Store. I am in love with everything about this!

You can really see the holo goodness of Saint George in the picture with my thumb. In the sun this was UNREAL! The holo and the studs together was just so badass in my opinion. Unfortunately when I did this it decided to rain for almost the whole time. The only time it was sunny was when I was walking home from class and I thought I could race home and get my camera and snap a few pics, however by the time I got home it was cloudy and rainy again :( So you will have to take my word that this was incredibly amazing.

I kept these on as long as I could, which was 3 days for me. A few of my friends who don't really pay that much attention to my nails were like Woah! and what do you have on today? I love it!

These studs can be purchased from Born Pretty Store here and are just $5.86 for about 1000 studs. I'll probably never run out, unless I keep doing this mani over and over and over again :) If you want to buy them remember to use my 7% off code SA7X31

What do you think of my holo studded v-gaps? Are you swoooing as much as I am? Or is this not really your thing?

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

  5. That looks really great! Just wondering - what top coat do you use when you use 3D nail art pieces? Asking because I've had some issues with Seche Vite wrinkling when it needs to be thicker to cover these kinds of things, and trying to figure out if I'm the only one!

    1. Thanks Julie! I use NYC In a Minute QuickDry topcoat. It's fabulous and I have never had any issues with shrinkage. It's not actually labeled at a topcoat however, it's number 202 Grand Central Station :) Hope that helps!
