New Years Eve/Birthday Nails

Hey friends!

So this post is way delayed. But better late than never right? These are the nails that I wore for New Years Eve and my birthday! The holiday season was so busy that one of the requests I made for my family on my birthday was to let me have a few hours to sit down and actually be able to do my nails. This is what I came up with!

I wanted to do a skittles mani because they are my absolute favourite type of nail art. I can never decide on one print so skittles let me do a little of everything! I was wearing a gold sequin skirt and a black top for new years so that is where my colour scheme came from.

I used black creme, Orly Luxe and Alter Ego Goldpanner as my main polishes. From there I added glitter, bullion beads rhinestones and my nail art brushes to create some fun looking nails to ring in the new year! I did my right hand as well to amp up the whole skittle look!

I did a 2013 on my left thumb to ring in the new year and 22 in bullion beads on my right hand to symbolize my getting another year older!

I quite liked these and hope you do too! I had a fabulous new years and birthday. What did you do to ring in your new year? Are you having a good start to 2013?

Are you a fan of the black and gold combination? Hope your Monday is treating you well my dears!
