Goooooood Morning beautiful lacquerheads!
One of my favourite looks right now are those floral jean shorts with the studded back pockets. I haven't been able to find any near me, so I figured why not create them on my nails!
I started off with China Glaze Fancy Pants which is the perfect indigo with a pink shimmer that totally can be the nail version of jeans. I used China Glaze Snap My Dragon and white creme to create all the flowers. Just by mixing various amounts of white in with Snap My Dragon and a small nail art brush.
Once all my flowers were done I started in on the leaves with China Glaze Budding Romance and white creme. The leaves really give the flowers a more polished look and filled in a lot of missing space. Finally on my middle nail I added silver studs from Born Pretty Store in a staircase pattern to emulate studs on a back pocket.
I love floral nails and these just amped it up a little with the studs and took away some of the delicateness of the floral look.

ReplyDeleteI took a pair of Target floral-patterned denim shorts and added studs to the front just above the flap of the useless "pocket." Seriously, girl pockets are too small to be functional.
This matches so perfectly, even down to the shimmery blue base! It mimics the denim texture well without taking anything away from the flowers. Loveeeee it.
