Dollish Polish Dolly Does Polish Collection

Morning Dolls! Today I'm finally getting around to showing you my picks from the Dollish Polish Dolly Does Polish Collection. I got these polishes awhile ago, and swatched them almost immediately, but then for some reason forget about them well they sat in my drafts! Silly me! These are all stunning glassfleck and shimmer polishes really are something special. *Warning* all of these polishes have mature names, so if that is something you are offended by then stop reading and come back tomorrow! :) Let's get onto the swatches!

Lots of pretty pictures and mature polish names after the jump!

Dollish Polish Dolly Does Polish Lipstick Around Your Dipstick

First up we have Lipstick Around Your Dipstick. First off hilarious name! This is such a bold cherry red that has a fuchsia glassfleck shimmer running throughout. Totally reminds me of a super red lipgloss that I used to own. I can completely see where the name came from here! This was 2 easy coats.

Dollish Polish Dolly Does Polish Slippery When Wet

Next up we have Slippery When Wet. Again killer name! This is an aqua blue glass fleck that reminds me of the colour of a pool with the sun shining on it on the hottest day of the summer. I just want to jump into the colour. That sounds bad when you associate it with the name, but it's a beautiful colour regardless. This was 2 coats.

Dollish Polish Dolly Does Polish Walk of Shame

Next up we have Walk of Shame. This is a royal purple with a violet/pink glass fleck shimmer running throughout the polish. This was a little more sheer than the others and needed 3 coats. My camera and purple have such a rough relationship so this is not completely colour accurate. The picture below was taken with flash and is closest to the colour in real life.

Dollish Polish Dolly Does Polish A Bad Case Of Blueballs

Last up we have A Bad Case of Blueballs. I think this is my favourite! Shocker it's a blue. It's a royal blue, with a seriously intense turquoise glassfleck shimmer running throughout. I had a hard time capturing this polish because it just glows! It is just a touch darker than in my pictures, but they are very close. The combination with the royal blue and turquoise shimmer is unlike anything else I have in my collection and makes this such a stunner! This was 2 coats.

I love this collection. I haven't purchased many indies that aren't glitterbombs, but these really are incredibly unique. The glassfleck shimmer in these is so strong that they look like they are glowing from within. Pictures don't do these justice.

Dollish Polish can be purchased here. Prices range from $4.50 for a mini 5mL bottle to $8.75 for a full 15mL bottle. All polish is currently sold out, but keep up to date with Dollish Polish on Facebook and Twitter to see when she will be restocking!

Are you a fan of this *mature* collection? Personally I think the names are hilarious and I love that someone decided to do this!

Hope you're all having a wonderful day loves! I'm still up at my boyfriends cottage hopefully soaking up the sunshine and enjoying spending time with his family :) What are you up to on this August day!

  3. I am a fan of this collection. It may not be as popular online as some of Dolly's other polishes, but these are some great colors (and gorgeous swatches!). I think the names are hilarious. I know a lot of innocent-minded people who wouldn't like the mature names, but then again, they probably wouldn't even understand the references!
