Born Pretty Store Gold Studs

Afternoon darlings! I've got a pretty cool mani to share with you featuring 2mm Gold Square Studs from Born Pretty Store! I love adding studs to a mani as it's such a simple way to spice up your nails without too much effort!

For this mani I started off with the fabulous butter LONDON Disco Biscuit on all my nails but my index, which I used Revlon Bare Bones. A full swatch post of Disco Biscuit will be coming up later because I really did love this polish! I then added a line of 2mm gold studs on my thumb and one stud at the base of my pinky and index nail. On my middle nail I added a third of Bare Bones using a striping brush and then put studs along the seem of the two polishes. As an accent on my ring nail I stamped with BM-202 and Billie Gold.

I really do love Born Pretty Store for nail art supplies. They are inexpensive, free shipping and of the highest quality. To apply these studs all I did was put a strip of top coat where I wanted to place the studs and then used a dotting tool with a tad of topcoat to get the stud to stick to the dotting tool and then placed it on my nail. Add one coat of quick drying top coat and those studs are stuck in place until you're ready to take them off!

These studs can be found here for only $4.58 for essentially a lifetime supply. Seriously you'll never be able to run out of these things! I love using studs, because anyone of any level of nail art skill can add these. Also they sit relatively flat on your nail, so if you hate things sticking up from your nail, unlike rhinestones, these shouldn't bother you!

What do you think of these studs? Have you ever used any before? Would you buy them? Hope you're having a fabulous day! Thanks for stopping by!

The studs used in this post were provided for my honest review.

  4. So cool. I have the silver ones but have not tried them out yet. They aren't practical for me because I'm a picker but I had to try them anyways.

    1. It's actually amazing how flat these sit on your nail once you put them on and a thick coat of top coat. Try putting a coat of Gelous and then a coat of Top Coat and these should sit smooth on your nail! :)
